Highlands Baptist church is a Christ centred, Christ focused, Christ worshiping church. Our hymnology is reflective of this truth.

We believe in the exclusivity of the person and sacrificial work of Christ as the only basis for our salvation. “nor is their salvation in any other , for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4 v 12

We believe in the divine inspiration of the word of God ( the holy scriptures ) as the supreme authority for faith and practice.

We believe in a plurality of leadership rather than a one man ministry so as to reflect the working of the body of Christ..
